Family medicine

A family physician is concerned with the general health needs of people of all ages. Focusing on the primary care of you and your family, he or she can refer you to a specialist or community resources when appropriate.

Family doctors receive training in six broad areas: community medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgery.

Internal medicine

Our internal medicine specialists provide care at the clinic and in the hospital. These personal doctors help adolescents, adults and the elderly manage common and complex conditions.

Obstetrics / gynecology (OB/GYN)

Some women choose an obstetrician/gynecologist as a main health care provider. OB/GYNs are doctors who specialize in the care of the female reproductive system, including pregnancy and childbirth. Nurse practitioners also can specialize in health care for women.

Pediatrics

When it comes to their health (and many other things), children have unique needs. Our experts are concerned with the emotional, physical and social growth of babies on up to young adults.

Allergy and immunology

When your immune system isn't working properly, we're here to help. Our specialists identify and address problems like allergies, asthma, eczema, hay fever, bad allergic reactions, autoimmune diseases and immune deficiency diseases.

Audiology (hearing care)

Our hearing specialists – audiologists – identify and evaluate hearing loss. They can also help you prevent or live with hearing loss.

Ear, nose and throat (ENT, otolaryngology)

Otolaryngologists or head and neck surgeons are doctors who treat conditions affecting the ears, face, jaw, nose, sinuses and throat. They use their knowledge of breathing and eating to treat and prevent allergies, hearing loss, voice loss and other problems.

Diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism

Your endocrine glands regulate your body by sending hormones directly into the blood and other fluids. This affects metabolism, the use of energy and other chemical processes your body needs to function. When either aspect isn't working properly, diseases like diabetes can result -- and our specialists can help.

General surgery

Sometimes a disease, injury or birth defect requires surgery. Surgeons are doctors who there for you before, during and after an operation.

Psychology

Psychologists help individuals and families work through emotional difficulties through talk therapy. They also evaluate mental health through special assessments.

Ophthalmology

Ophthalmologists are doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical care of eyes and in the prevention of eye disease and injury.

Optometry

Optometrists diagnose vision problems and eye diseases, prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and treat eye disorders and injuries. Although they do not perform eye surgery, they can care for patients before and after surgery.

Podiatry (foot medicine and surgery)

A podiatrist is a doctor who evaluates and treats foot problems. Care can range from treating foot or ankle injuries to helping people with diabetes avoid common foot-related complications.

Pulmonology (lung care)

Pulmonologists are doctors who help people with lung and breathing problems like asthma and lung cancer. They also see patients with sleep disorders.

Sports medicine

Physical exercise has many health benefits. We can help you prevent or deal with injury or illness as you exercise on your own or as part of a team.
