(HealthDay News) -- Keeping a log of your physical activity can help motivate you to get enough exercise and track your progress.

You should include the following information in your activity log:

  • date of your activity
  • time spent on each activity
  • type of activity (i.e. walking or gardening)
  • your goal for each activity
  • how you felt during and after each activity.
