Visiting hoursVisitors are asked to keep the health of all patients in mind and not to visit if they have flu or cold symptoms. General visiting hoursVisitors are welcome in most patient areas from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitors are asked to stop at the nurse’s station to make sure patients are ready for visitors. Specialty Care Unit visiting hoursVisiting hours may be restricted for patients in the SCU or in an isolation area. Check in at the nurse’s station before visiting. Maternity Care Center visiting hoursFathers, labor partners, and siblings are generally welcome anytime; others should visit during regular visiting hours. All visitors are asked to wash their hands before holding a newborn. Children who have been exposed to chicken pox or other contagious illnesses should not visit. |
