Diabetes education

Diabetes education is an essential part of the coordinated diabetes care offered by Cambridge Medical Center. We provide information and tools to help you manage your diabetes.

Registered nurses or dietitians who are certified in diabetes education teach classes and can also answer your questions. Most health plans cover the costs of the classes.

Classes and services include:

• Pre-diabetes class
• One-on-one session
• Diabetes basics class series
• Annual diabetes update
• Insulin pump orientation
• Gestational diabetes class and follow up
