Roux-en-Y gastric bypass

A sleeve gastrectomy is a type of weight loss surgery where surgeons reduce the size of the stomach. Your stomach will be stapled and divided. About 80% of your stomach will be removed.

Vertical banded gastroplasty

During vertical banded gastroplasty (VBG) surgery, four rows of vertical staples are placed, and a small opening is created by securing a silastic ring near the end of this staple line.

Biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch
