How to give

Donors can contribute by:

• Donating online.

Ways to give

• Tributes and memorials – Make a tribute gift to commemorate a loved one’s memory or to honor a caregiver, friend or family member. The Foundation will send a letter to notify the person you designate of the gift. In addition, you and the person you honor will be recognized in the Foundation’s annual report.
• Stock gifts – Donate appreciated securities. In doing so, you may be able to deduct your gift as a charitable donation and avoid a capital gains tax on the transfer. Consult with your financial advisor and/or attorney if you give securities. Please utilize the Stock Donation Brokerage Transfer Authorization Form (pdf) to make your gift. • Planned gifts – Make a gift through bequest provisions in a will, gift annuities, transfer of real estate, marketable securities or a life income agreement, such as a charitable remainder trust or a life insurance policy. • Gala tickets – Purchase a ticket or sponsor a table to attend our annual gala, and enjoy an elegant evening in support of the Foundation.
• Workplace giving – Look into these giving options through your employer:
  
  • having your personal gift matched by your company
  • designating United Way or Community Health Charities gifts to the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation.

• Telefundraising – Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation raises funds for the hospital's important work through telefundraising efforts. Please consider making a contribution if you receive a call.
