Abbott Northwestern granted Magnet™ designation
On Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) granted Magnet recognition status to Abbott Northwestern Hospital. The designation is the highest level of recognition from the ANCC and is valid for four years.

Minnesota Nurses Association

The Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) is the professional organization for registered nurses. More than 19,000 nurses in Minnesota are members of MNA and Abbott Northwestern Hospital's nurses have a strong presence in the association.
