Comprehensive gynecologic careThe gynecologic oncology services of the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute® provide comprehensive gynecologic care for women with cervical, ovarian and uterine cancers, as well as less common cancers. Our staffThe expert health care professionals of the Gynecologic Cancer Program include gynecologic oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists and oncology nurses. The physician specialists involved with the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancer participate in monthly treatment planning conferences to review recent cases to improve the consistency and quality of care. Each of these physicians is board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology and gynecologic oncology and trained to perform laser, laparoscopic, and radical pelvic surgery. |
