Health care access

Allina Health strives to help anyone get necessary medical care, regardless of ability to pay.

Childhood obesity prevention

Allina Health seeks to reduce childhood obesity by improving nutrition and increasing physical activity among children in our community.

Heart healthy living

Allina Health seeks to decrease death and disability from cardiovascular disease by promoting heart healthy living, increasing screening and intervention, and improving early and effective response to cardiac events in our community.

The Center for Healthcare Innovation at Allina Health researches new care models and treatments to transform health and health care and advance the Allina Health strategic vision to improve patient care and serve as a catalyst for change in health care locally and nationally.

Employee volunteerism: Giving back and changing lives

Mission Matters is an easy way for Allina Health employees to get engaged in their communities through volunteering and helping determine where Allina Health charitable contributions are made.

After employees log 20 volunteer hours with a qualifying organization on allina.volunteermatch.org, a $100 Dollars for Doers contribution is made to the nonprofit organization of their choice. In addition, if at least five employees participate in a charity walk, run or ride, Allina Health contributes $250 to the event's benefiting organization. Dollars increase with participation, up to $5,000.
