Your recovery at home: Older brothers and sisters
When you get back home
- Spend just-you-and-me time with each child each day, even if it is only a few minutes.
- Tell older children stories about when they were babies.
- Spend time together looking through your older child's baby book or baby pictures.
- Give older children extra attention, cuddles, praise and love.
- Be patient if older children "try on" baby behavior, suck their thumbs, or wet the bed.
