Third trimester: To do list

    Keep track of your PDF iconbaby's activity.

    Identify who can give you breastfeeding support, such as a friend or family member. If you don't already know, find out what breastfeeding services your

    Buy several nursing bras. Choose cotton cups that are not lined with plastic and two extra clasp-widths for expanded comfort. The last three weeks of pregnancy are the best time to schedule a nursing bra fitting. Your hospital birth center may have supplies you can buy.

    If you will be returning to work while you're still nursing, you may want to buy a good breast pump now. (Note: Check with your insurance company for coverage before you buy a breast pump.)

    Get the labor bag and suitcase ready.

    Review the Preparing for Your Baby To Do list.

    Talk with your health care provider about your birth plan.

    Send in your preadmission form if you haven't already done so.

    Register for childbirth classes (if this is not your first baby), a refresher childbirth class, and a breastfeeding class. Go to www.allina.com/classes or call Allina Class Registration at 612-262-3333.
