First trimester: Warning signs

Call your health care provider right away if you have any of these signs:

• vaginal bleeding
• fluid leaking from your vagina
• severe abdominal pain
• nausea and vomiting more than four to five times a day, or if you are unable to keep anything down
• fever of more than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
• problems with urination (such as pain, burning, and greatly increased frequency)
• headache that doesn't go away after taking acetaminophen (Tylenol®).
