Care after surgery

After your hysterectomy, there are a variety of things you need to know for your safety, recovery and comfort.

Before you go home, you will receive instructions on your diet, medicines, activity level, follow-up appointment, and signs and symptoms to watch for.

Within this section is a list of commonly asked questions, mobility guidelines, and information about pain medicine, anti-inflammatory medicines, and nutrition.

If you have any questions, ask your doctor or nurse; they want your recovery to be as smooth as possible.
