Pork roast

Craving comfort food? Enjoy this juicy pork roast with the added kick of horseradish.


1 2-pound lean boneless pork rib roast or loin roast, all visible fat removed
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place pork roast in a shallow baking dish. Rub horseradish over the surface of the meat. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over roast.
  4. Place roast in the oven. Do not cover. Cook about 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer registers 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Let stand 5 minutes.
  5. Slice to serve.

Makes 11 servings.
