Italian salad dressing

Use this healthful dressing on top of your favorite salad!


1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano


  1. Combine all ingredients in a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Shake well and refrigerate.
  3. Serve chilled on salads or use as a marinade.

Makes 6 servings.
