Creamy spinach casserole
Spinach is a good source of iron. This side dish offers flavorful way to benefit from it.
Ingredients2 (10-ounce) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and squeezed dry
8 ounces light sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons bacon bits
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 cup seasoned or buttered bread crumbs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spread spinach in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, Parmesan cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder and basil and then spread over spinach.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
