Intensive Care Unit

Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus’ Intensive Care Unit (ICU) supports patients and families and ensures safe passage in a caring and healing environment.

The ICU has received awards from the Institute for HealthCare Improvement and the Minnesota Hospital Association for low mortality, low rates of ventilator-associated pneumonia, patient safety and patient innovation.

Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus has also implemented the ventilator bundle concept as part of an Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) collaborative on improving care in the intensive care unit (ICU).
