    Acupressure

    Acupressure is a form of massage. It can be performed by a massage therapist or an acupuncturist. The goal is to encourage the movement of qi ("life energy") through the 14 channels inside the body.     Assisted PNF Stretching

    Body in Balance

    Energy healing

    The Fitness Profile is an ideal starting point for any new exercise plan or an opportunity for regular exercisers to check their progress. This assessment includes an intake of your health history, complete muscular strength, flexibility, body fat and muscular endurance tests, and a cardiovascular fitness assessment. An exercise physiologist interprets the results, helps you establish personal fitness goals, addresses any concerns, and gives you recommendations for a personalized exercise program.     If you are experiencing uncomplicated acute or chronic complaints, or if you have a referral from your medical doctor, you may benefit from Fitness Rehabilitation.     Do you have a new pain or an old injury that prevents you from exercising or doing everyday activities? An injury assessment may be what you need to get moving again. You will receive an individual evaluation from a physical therapist. Self-treatment recommendations and/or further evaluations by your physician may be suggested.     Korean Hand Therapy

    Korean Hand Therapy is based on the theory that the hands are a microcosm of the body, thus treating specific points on the hand can have an effect on the corresponding body part. Stimulation of the points on the hand through pressure or with the use of a pellet or seed will positively affect the corresponding body part. It is a non-invasive therapy that produces results in affecting pain, nausea and constipation. It can easily be taught for self-care. Best for: Pain management and cancer care.

    Pilates reformer training

    Pilates Reformer Training is designed to strengthen and lengthen your muscles by using gentle resistance created by an exercise device called a Reformer. This low impact exercise will allow you to work all of the body's muscle groups or precisely target specific areas. Exercises can be modified for most exercise levels and physical limitations.     Reflexology

    Reflexology is based on the concept that there are reflex maps in each foot and hand that correspond to all body parts and organs. A reflexologist applies pressure to these areas to cause changes in your body.     When stress is overwhelming your nervous system prepares for "fight or flight." This response can be helpful in emergencies but can wear down your body if it is constantly activated in everyday life. Easily learned relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and meditation techniques can bring the mind and body back into balance.     Resilience Training is an eight-week group program developed by Henry Emmons, MD, and based on his book, "The Chemistry of Joy." It is designed to help people enhance their natural resilience, making them less likely to develop problems with depression and other chronic diseases. Desired outcomes for program participants include reduced severity of depression and anxiety symptoms, a decrease in future episodes and less reliance on prescription medications.

    The program begins with a consultation with a psychiatrist. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the program and whether it is right for you, but also to receive an integrative assessment of your situation and any suggestions the psychiatrist feels may be helpful. Each Resilience Training group consists of 12 to 16 participants who meet once a week for eight weeks to gain a greater understanding of the interconnected workings of the mind, body and spirit. The training also includes individual sessions with a clinical nutritionist and an exercise physiologist. Best for: Life balance/stress management and healthy sleep.

    The Take Action Weight Management Program is highly successful for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. Participants learn skills to manage their weight, including a regular program of exercise, healthy nutrition and lifestyle modification. The program includes a Fitness Profile, resting metabolism measurement, personalized exercise training session, comprehensive manual, wellness coaching, and weekly group sessions covering nutrition and behavior changes.     Quit to Live Well is a holistic, tobacco cessation program that offers participants up to five, one-on-one sessions with an advanced practice nurse clinician to develop an individualized quit plan. The plan may include drug therapy, counseling or coaching, acupuncture, aromatherapy, and stress and weight management tools. Participants also are offered a Craving to Quit app for smart phones and tablets. The app is based on successful smoking cessation programming developed by Yale University. Best for: tobacco cessation.

    Total Body Conditioning Camp

    Total body conditioning camp is an eight-week boot camp, fitness and nutrition program for all fitness levels. It includes a one-on-one Body Gem/nutrition consult and fitness profile with a body composition test. It also includes weekly, 45-minute group training sessions featuring core, cardio and strength training exercises. Best for: healthy eating, healthy weight and physical activity.
