    Owatonna Hospital was recognized as a 2013 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, as part of their 2014 annual report "America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety," for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance. Six Allina Health hospitals are among 1,224 hospitals in the United States and 22 in Minnesota earning the 2013 Top Performer distinction. Owatonna Hospital was recognized for achievement on the measure sets of pneumonia and surgical care.
