Medicare Accountable Care Organization ACO

  • Allina Health is participating in a Medicare Accountable Care Organization (ACO) program.

An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and health care providers working together with Medicare to give better service and care to patients.

The goals of the ACO program are:

    • better care for individual patients
    • better health for our communities
    • affordable care for all.

This ACO is only for fee-for-service (FFS) Medicare patients and not Medicare Advantage based beneficiaries.

Where can I find more information about ACOs?
