Self-care during the holidays—A gentle approach

When we are grieving the death of a loved one, we often feel out of sync with the joy of the holidays. We may be dreading what once brought us pleasure and meaning. Learning how to care for ourselves during this often challenging time may ease the anxiety many of us feel as the holidays approach. Adult participants will have an opportunity to:

    • Learn about grief and the importance of self-care
    • Experience a variety of self-care approaches for reducing stress, processing grief, and creating balance
    • Gather practical suggestions regarding holiday activities including:
      • How to simplify your plans
      • How to incorporate your loved one’s memory in new traditions
      • How to find space for grieving in the midst of others' joy

Registration is required by Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.

    When: Monday, Nov. 16 from 1-3 p.m. OR from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: HealthPartners Como Clinic, 2500 Como Avenue, St. Paul, Conference Rooms A and B (2nd floor)
