    ACLS/BLS Initial Certification

    Through this American Heart Association course, health care professionals can complete advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certification requirements. The one-day class is held throughout the year in Minneapolis.

    ACLS/BLS Recertification

    This course is for health care providers who already have advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certification. It is held at locations in these cities:

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

    This American Heart Association course is for emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, physician assistants, physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and other health care professionals who are seeking first-time training that offers a basic life support (BLS) course credential card. It is held at locations in these Minnesota cities:

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Recertification

    Developed by the American Heart Association, this course for health care professionals presents information, guidelines and skills designed for those without previous pediatric advanced life support training and/or limited opportunity to apply PALS in their clinical practice. It is held at locations in these Minnesota cities:

    Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Verification

    Recognizing the impact of trauma in the United States and the contributions of nurses in the care of trauma patients, the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has updated this course with the latest standards in trauma care. The two-day class is held throughout the year.

    To register and pay for continuing education classes through Saba, the Allina Health learning management system, take these steps:

    4. Select the course, and then Register > Confirm > Place Order.
