Perflutren Protein Type A Microsphere (per-FLOO-tren PROE-teen type A MYE-kroe-sfeers)
Used during a heart procedure called a 2D ECHO (echocardiography). Helps your doctor see the inside of your heart more clearly. Perflutren protein type A microsphere is no longer available in the United States.

When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:You should not receive this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to perflutren protein type A microsphere, blood, blood products, or albumin. You should not receive this medicine if you have unstable angina, unstable or worsening congestive heart failure, heart rhythm problems (such as QT prolongation), or have recently had a heart attack. You should not receive this medicine if you have serious breathing problems or lung disease, such as severe emphysema or blood clots in the lungs.
