Methoxsalen (On the skin)
Treats vitiligo (skin disease). Used along with ultraviolet light found in sunlight and some special lamps.
OxsoralenThere may be other brand names for this medicine.
When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to methoxsalen, or to other psoralen compounds. You should not use this medicine if you have melanoma, skin cancer, or if you have a disease with extreme sensitivity to sunlight (such as porphyria, lupus).
